Discovering cinema with all the senses. Our free offer for kindergartens.
How does the film actually get onto the screen?
What does the screen feel like?
And what happens at the cinema before the lights go out?
In our KinoKnirpse programme, children of kindergarten age playfully discover the world of cinema with all their senses. Together we look behind the scenes of the Kinemathek, get to touch the screen, explore the auditorium and watch short film examples.
What we do:
- a child-friendly introduction: what is a film?
- a discovery tour through the cinema
- screen & projection to touch and marvel at
- age-appropriate short films or film sequences
At a glance:
- Duration: approx. 60–75 minutes, free of charge
- Participants: max. 10 children + 2 accompanying adults
- Age: kindergarten children (3–6 years)
- Registration: vermittlung@kinemathek-karlsruhe.de
